What is gluten? I hear about it all the time and I have no idea! Gluten is a natural forming protein found in grains. It is specifically found in wheat, oats, barley, and rye.
If you’re one of the millions going gluten free these days, you need to carefully evaluate every item in your pantry. Keeping the same old thing on hand will only lead to problems, and it may leave you hungry as well.
Forget the gluten-free biscuits, cake or chocolate bars. Healthy gluten-free snacks on the go are oh so much better for your health (and your wallet). You just need some basics, all of which you can grab from your local store.
